Mission & Vision
History & Timeline
Founded in 1895, Providence Place began as a safe haven for young women in need of support and healing. Over time, we’ve grown to offer a full suite of compassionate, client-centered services for individuals and families, including parenting support, mental health counseling, and coaching, guided by trauma-informed principles.
For over 130 years, our story has been one of radical compassion, resilience, and innovation. Through every generation, we’ve adapted to meet people where they are, without losing sight of the heart that started it all.
